The dream of five women - Dolly Singh, Daveena Ramgolam, Lolita Singh, Kumarie Dindiyal and Sachee Beer - is realized in a very dramatic and sensational manner.

The Diwali Motorcade starts from the Arya Samaj Spiritual Grounds located on 133rd street and weers left onto Liberty Avenue passing the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir to 123rd Street then glides right to 103 Avenue, then returns to 133rd Street passing Sybils Bakery where all floats in the Motorcade are greeted by the judges. The floats in the Motorcade are judged on a predetermined set of criteria related to creativity, originality and relevance to Diwali.
